The purpose of the Associates' Program is to support the library. For over 90 years, the Bayport Public Library has served the community. This program offers you an opportunity to give something back. By becoming an Associate, you can be actively involved in the future of the Library.

The Associates' Program is a part of the Bayport Public Library Foundation. Founded in 1990, the Foundation provides supplemental assistance for programs and services of the library.

Many library patrons support the library by becoming an Associate of the Bayport Public Library. Several years ago we established the Associates program. Each fall, members are invited to renew their annual membership. Twice a year, we send a newsletter to all of our associates, alerting them to library news and events. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the most recent newsletter of the Associates.

Why do we need it?

The Library Foundation is a critical element in helping to attract additional funding to the library. The Associates' Program allows broader participation by the community and everyone who uses the Library.

Who can join?

Anyone with an interest in maintaining the quality of services and programs of the Bayport Public Library may become a Library Associate.
